Zoo Party!

Josh, Kamala, Ian and I went to the zoo on Monday! It rained, but we had fun anyway. I’d write more if I hadn’t spent so much time putting up pis this week. Josh has fallen asleep on me here on the couch. Literally on top of me, like the cat. WITH the cat. So I type with one hand…

Brilliant photos. I always have gone to the zoo when it has been raining. Nicer that way since there’s less crowds and more time to spend with the animals without a screaming kid scaring them off. What kind of camera do you use to take these pics?

I use a Fuji FinePix f10 named Felix. It is my first digital camera, though I borrowed everyone else’s for years. I am just starting to really want a digital slr so I can play with lenses, (particularly macro for bugs and textures and telephoto for people and animals) but I do have a nice canon 35mm for that in the meantime, and I am still learning. The f10 is so great for a point & shoot - great macro, easy to use, lots of options, nice size, great colors.
