The Degenerate Art Ensemble is going on tour, and I will be hanging out with them for the following dates:

Oct 9th Radio Live on KUSF, San Francisco

Oct 14th Los Angeles at Bar Sinster w/Stolen Babies

With the possible exception of the LA date, I think I have to work Monday the 16th and I’m not sure I can swing a plane ticket home in time on the 15th, so I may just take a train home from San Francisco if I can’t miss some of Monday. Which is a disappointment, as LA is where I most want to go… more soon.

Holy cow!! Guess who stopped by Greg Kucera gallery today and bought SIX (6!!!) of my roomate’s photographs? Yay!! Maybe he’ll break even after all! Hooray for good taste, Sir Elton! I shall put Honky Chateau in the stereo in honor of the occasion. A couple of the photos he bought, apparently, feature my handsome boyfriend, a favorite low-rent model for Chris and just about the most photogenic subject besides our cat I’ve ever encountered. Imagine, some day Josh could be hanging in a rock star’s house! I mean, another rock star’s house.

I’m playing at Barca on Capitol Hill tomorrow as part of the Decibel Festival deliciousness in Seattle… I start at 6pm, Happy Hour stylee, and Eddie will be joining me shortly after. I’ll be playing allllll sorts of stuff - a festival with such eclectic programming really makes me feel free to experiment. Please drop by, it’s been so long!
