I just feel better today after last night’s elections. I almost forgot what hopeful tasted like.
Work was insane today though, and Josh is leaving tomorrow, so perhaps there’ll be more time to comment later.

Thank god, Shiva, Buddha, Eris and every other deity imagined and not for the happiness that was election night. Getting to watch so many tear felt backpedaling morose admitances of defeat gave me one of the best warm glows inside I’ve ever had. Now if only the Dems would make the whole world love us and impeach the buffoon in the White house and charge him with war profiteering then all would be well.
Oh and who could forget that good ol’ Rummy is gone now as well.

Not that we’re hateful and vengeful, far from it. I’m not rejoicing in the suffering of others, but in the first glimpse of hope of the relief from my own! I’m so, so glad to see the pedulum start heading the other way.
